Elizabeth looked at Cior. "Why did you send him away?" She asked sitting down on one of the benches.

" Because, I need to explain things to you missy."

Ethan looked at both of them, perhaps now was the time for him to scat before they started to argue. "If you don't mind, I will be going now I have some business to attend to. Thank you for inviting me."

She glanced over at him, almost forgetting that he was standing there. "It was my pleasure Sir Doubro. You put up quiet a fight" she smiled at him.

He smiled and gave a slight bow. "When you return, I would like a rematch! But until then I bid you farewell, your highness." With that he departed heading out the south gate.

She watched him go, he was a good man and if things were different perhaps she would have liked to get to know him better. Her thoughts were suddenly interrupted by Cior clearing his throat. "What!" She suddenly snapped.

"As I was saying before your Prince charming interrupted. What you did in that arena just now... that, that was, just, unacceptable!" He stammered about what he should say. Yes he was proud of her, but he was also a bit disappointed that she had to do that to win.

Her eyes narrowed on him as she folded her arms across her chest. "I did what I did to win... I thought that's what you wanted me to do... and it's not like it meant anything. Not like he cared or I cared."she started to feel like a little girl being scolded by her father.

His eyes widened and brow raised. "Really? That's not what I saw... if he didn't care then how come the boy didn't pull away hmm? BY the way, that is not what I have taught you and you know that." He pointed out to her, feeling slightly agitated about it, how could she have just done that?

Elizabeth went to speak but froze when she heard what he said. She shook her head "you are crazy... now" she stood. "If you don't mind I would like to get washed up myself since I'm leaving tomorrow morning with Baylon."

Cior sighed heavily, he knew she hated it when he got overprotective of her. But some had to be! He thought about the boy he needed more time to recuperate, his wound wasn't just an arrow wound as the doctor had said. If that arrow had been any longer his right arm would have been completely useless, and with him following Elizabeth around like a dog he hadn't had time to tend to it.  "Now hold your horses missy."

She halted in her footsteps and turned around and looked at him.

"Are you sure you want to leave tomorrow?"he asked.

"Listen if this is about the whole, Baylon's not ready to leave thing, I believe you need to get your eyes checked. Because from what I saw he seems to be just fine." He stated.

"You need to take the time to realize what that boy really is. He isn't some lost puppy wanting to be found... he is a trained killer with advanced training of all kinds, of things, one of which is pain tolerance. The men and woman that belong to the Black Eagle group are trained to withstand severe torture by any hand. He's not going to be showing any pain until possibly after the fact. Remember these are people who are skilled in almost every thing...they don't get anywhere with out pain. It's what he's been trained to do his whole life." Cior explained, he knew quiet a bit about the group and how they worked. They've been around for a very long time, and have been the cause of many terrible things, a few he's seen personally.

She looked at him curiously, it sounds as though he was talking from experience. But he was right about them. The Black Eagles go under such severe training that most don't make it. That could be the reason why Baylon never really shows any pain let alone any kind of emotion besides anger. Or he could not be in any pain at all! "I've made my decision Cior, I'm leaving tomorrow I can't sit around and wait any longer." She said turning around and walking away from him. She didn't care if Baylon was fit to go any how. He wasn't here for comfort he was here at her mercy, and to do what she tells him to do.

Elizabeth bended the corner around the barracks wall on the side where the showers and latrines sat. It was a easier and quicker way of getting into the castle, so it was the way she went. Her mind on other things so she wasn't paying any attention as she walked right into a person! She quickly clenched her eyes shut hoping to goodness that the man she just just walked into wasn't naked. Her hands were out in front if her and were on the chest of who ever it was, it was wet yet warm and surprisingly smooth.  "I'm sorry I didn't mean to walk I to you!" She said afraid to move.

He cleared his throat. "You can open your eyes." the man's voice seemed slightly annoyed.

'Its him! Why in world did it half to be him!' She screamed in her head as one eye peeked open and looked at Baylon. He was looking down at her his right eye brow raised slightly, he had the look of of an annoyed person. He was clean, he smelt like rain water and his hair that was normally half up with braids on the side was down, and had quiet a lot of hair hanging down in his face. He looked like he had just fallen out of bed his hair stuck up every which way, her eyes seemed to have a mind of their own as they moved from his face down to his chest and arms, he had strong slightly broad shoulders and large toned arms, she could guess where he got the muscles in his arms from. Around his right wrist was a tattoo that circled around the base of it. On the bottom there was aligned  line. It reminded her of a cross. What did that mean? His  chest and torso were very well formed, lean and toned where it lead to a more narrow waist. Her eyes tracked back up to his chest, her hands still placed on him, it was as if she couldn't stop. She found him fascinating.

Baylon shook his head. 'This woman is unbelievable..' "Are you enjoying yourself?" He asked with a sarcastic tone.

His voice pierced her head. She suddenly stopped and shook her head WHAT was wrong with her! Her cheeks turned red, she went to step away but she saw a scar that went from his right collarbone all the way across and past his sternum. "Where did you get this scar?" She had to ask.  Because really so far, him being the one who actually saved her that horrible day, was really just speculation. She knew the man who had saved her was wounded, and for some reason that particular scar drew her attention.

He sighed heavily. "Why do you want to know?" He took a step back away from her, he didn't like have her so close, touching him and examining him.

"Becuase you owe me a question." She eyed him, he apparently didn't like people so close to him.

Baylon hesitated  before answering "Fine... I got it, from." before he could answer.

"Duke Ahrengale!? Is that really you?" A old strained voice said.

Elizabeth recognized that voice, Duke Wellington the man she absolutely despised. She looks around for another person Ahrengale? She knew who he was, never saw him personally, but she had had heard of him. The man was a supposed hero from the last war between Eldin and Sefrite, he was well known throughout the kingdom's. 'Why would a man like that be here?' She thought still looking around.

Wellington walked right up to Baylon who shook his hand, completely ignoring the princess. "What in God's name are you doing here?" The older man smiled taking a step back.

Her eyes widened as she looked at Baylon. 'HES Arhengale! That's impossible... the dukes everything, he's not.' She thought completely thrown off by this.

" I came to see the lordship. Seems like the lad isn't here though." Baylon said suddenly changing his demeanor, his accent even changed. It would seem he had just become another person.

Her brow creased the sudden change, she knew that Black Eagles had the uncanny ability to his  drop everything and become a completely different person. It as like that with fighting and basically everything else too. She watched him carefully.

"Ah, yes the king has left to defend one of Valmores towers to the north." he observed the young duke before him, realizing he didn't have a shirt nor boots on.

"Holdin down fort eh? Oh sorry for the lack of attire. I just got washed up. Was teachin the lassy here, a few defensive moves." Babylon said nodding down at Elizabeth, who was watching him like a hawk.

Wellington laughed. "Oooho really! That girl is actually capable of learning."

She flared up when he said that. "YOU LITTLE!" Baylon stopped her.

"Lassy here did pretty well for her self. A little sloppy but alright" he said weighing it.

"Excuse me but I."

"Oh did she now. Surprises happen every day! " he said with a forceful chuckle.

Her eyes narrowed on him. Oh how she wished she could just wrap her hands around his fat neck and choke the daylights out of him!

Baylon somewhat shifted, so that he now stood in front of Elizabeth blocking Wellingtons view of her. He knew the mans hatred for her, and his plans. That they would just sit and argue about everything. He folded his arms and listened to the old man talk.

"So Ahrengale, how's the wife and kids doing in the Dragoon estate?" He  asked the tall man. Duke Arhengale was not only the richest of all the dukes in both Valmore, Eldin, Ignis, and Morbingale. He was also the most popular. He looked up to him as an idol.

'What! Wife? Kids? Are you serious?  Dragoon estate! Holy cow! There's a lot more to him.' She thought going to look up at him only to see a back. A back that was covered in black markings and scars. Her eyes now fixated on what she as seeing before her, blocking out everything.

"The barins' are doing great, the wife wants me home... same old story" he grinned.

"Good, good... listen Ahrengale. I'm having a meeting later this evening, after I'm done with business here. Care to join?" The  old man asked.

The man had rebel meetings in a secluded area. He and several other nobles and dukes got together and tried to not only pin the people against the king, but tried to gain power over the people and create distrust among the kingdom. Baylon had once put in end to it as a part of a mission he had done many years ago.  But apparently it was back. "I'm sorry my friend, but I can't. I'm traveling to Sefrite and  won't be back for at least the next few years. The councils need me up their to help sort some things out with Efriate."

His eyes widend "all the way to Sefrite! That's quiet a journey, and to be gone for so long... Well then I guess I should wish you luck. Those two countries hate each other."

He nodded and let out a sigh. " I know. Well then my friend I should let ye return to yer duties. Pleasure runnin into ya!" He said shaking his hand.

"Farewell to you too!" Wellington said as he walked pasted him and disappeared.

Baylon let out a heavy sigh of relief , as if it was hard for him to do it. He hated having to drop everything and become a totally different person. But It was required, he had to. He suddenly flinched when a cold hand was placed on his back. He quickly turned around to face her. "What are you doing?"

She was startled by his quick movements, her hand was still in the same place. Her cheeks started to turn pink. "I.... where did you get all of those tattoos from, and what do they mean?" She  asked they were so elaborate and took up his entire back. She  had to know why and what they meant.

His eyes narrowed on her. "You've already asked your question. Don't you have something better do then bug me?" He said rather tired of her asking questions and having to follow her around.

Elizabeth paused momentarily. "Fine, whatever. I'm going to go and check on Edmund, then I'm going to go and get washed up and packed for tomorrows journey. You better be in your little 'humble abode' by time I get back." She threatened walking away.

Baylon rolled his eyes and headed back to the shower.

I even surprised my self with this one... :O I don't know what I was thinking when I made her do that to him.... poor guy!
